Gender justice

This involves ensuring that gender plays no part in opportunities that are provided people, and seeking equality where inequality exists. 

As a church, we believe that gender should play no part in whether someone can be ordained, and we believe passionately in the importance of both men and women in church leadership roles. We fully support the Project Violet initiative that the Baptist Union runs, and we are a staunch advocate for women in ministry. 

We encourage individuals to play your part where you can to help advocate for equality in this area, too.
