Hungry student?

It’s been great to see so many of our students returning after the summer - and especially great to see so many new faces this last two weeks. I'm sure you will have connected with the Student Team and received all the information that you need about the church. This Sunday coming is the last of three when we invite students to have lunch with us after the service. So if you are hungry on Sunday after the service you know what to do!

You'll learn quickly that HBC is a church that enjoys sharing food with one another - from the breakfast which follows Parlour Prayer (7am on Wednesday mornings and led by Viv Davies) through to Alpha suppers on Monday evenings (not too late to join, but be quick!) and Sunday lunches.
It's been really good to meet some of the parents who came with their sons and daughters before leaving Newcastle to their emptier nests. I hope they felt reassured that HBC is a church that will really take an interest in them. You'll find out more from Phil and Christine Jensen who are our Student Co-ordinators.
