How easy is it for you to get water?

This morning I got up, went to the loo, closed my eyes and went back to bed. Then I went downstairs, filled the kettle, and made myself a cup of tea. I washed up with nice soapy water, in a clean sink. Then I brushed my teeth, washed my face and put my contact lenses in. All without thinking...

Just imagine what its like for so many people who do not have clean water, a toilet, a place to wash clothes, get clean, enjoy cold water. I take it for granted so much. Many people risk disease, danger of rape, snake bite and sheer hard work, just to access water, that can't be right, can it!. Here's a bit of film from Tearfund to show what its like for someone who is not used to it, fetching and carrying water.
