Mummy, Mummy
Balloons!
One fat pudgy finger pointing
Up
Up, high into the sky.

Gazing heavenwards
Balloons!
Not 1, not 2 but 101
A fleet of them
off to places unknown.

Hands clapping wildly
Face beaming from ear to ear
Up
Up, high into the sky.
Childlike wonder
Thrilling!
Joy overflowing,
infectious and mysterious
